With the widespread application of electrochemical energy storage in power grid peak shaving, renewable energy matching, industrial and commercial backup power supply and other scenarios, its safety issues are becoming increasingly prominent. Under conditions such as overcharging, internal short circuits, and mechanical abuse, battery systems may cause thermal runaway and release hydrogen and carbon monoxide gases, as well as trace amounts of toxic gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H ₂ S). How to build an efficient and reliable gas sensing network has become a core issue in the safety design of energy storage systems.   
 
Based on its profound accumulation in the field of gas monitoring, Jiazheng Intelligent has launched the "Energy Storage Safety Gas Sensing System Solution", which covers various gas sensors such as hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and combines signal processing, communication modules, and cloud platforms to achieve full chain coverage from "perception transmission analysis warning".   
 

The system uses MFC-H2-20000 hydrogen sensor, MFC-CO-5000 carbon monoxide sensor, MFC-H2S-100 and other products to effectively identify early battery failures through multi gas collaborative monitoring, achieving closed-loop management of "pre warning, in-process control, and post analysis".   


In practical applications, this solution has been successfully deployed in multiple large-scale energy storage power plants, data center backup power systems, and industrial and commercial energy storage projects, helping users significantly improve system security levels and operational efficiency. For example, in a hundred megawatt level energy storage power station, Jiazheng Intelligent's gas sensing system issued warnings at the early stage of abnormal temperature rise in battery modules, avoiding potential thermal runaway accidents and recovering huge economic losses for customers.
